"PODVURAH"
The Shaare Torah Adult Ed group has formed an interactive online group todiscuss jewish learning. It is a Yahoo! Group called "Podvurah". Podvurah is a combination of the words "Podcast" and Chavurah" (community). We hope to have discussions of podcasts and other media related to jewish history, torah and related topics. Occasionally there are folks in our community who need a ride to the synagogue on Shabbat, or during the week to a medical appointment or other need. The Committee helps others in our local community, Israel and the world around us by running food drives, repairing homes, cleaning lakes and streams, and conducting a host of other activities.
