Religious School
The Talmud teaches, "But for the warm breath generated by small children learning in the house of their Schoolmaster, the world could not exist." (Talmud, Shabbat 119:)
Our children are not only precious to us; they are the foundation of our future. Like the Talmud, I too believe that our children are the most important thing there is. As I write this letter, many of you are still away. By the time school begins, we will have spent the summer working to start off our new year by building a program which will strengthen our teachers, build a nurturing culture that teaches our children the value of Jewish tradition (masoret), community (kehilah) and kindness (hesed), and to lay the foundations of a lifelong love of learning (limud).
We are currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year!
